Application effect of comprehensive geriatric assessment in nursing care of patients with coronary artery disease combined with debilitating state
Objective To study the application effect of comprehensive geriatric assessment(CGA)in nursing care of patients with coronary heart disease combined with debilitated state.Methods A total of 76 elderly patients with coronary heart disease combined with debilitated state who received treatment at Department of Geriatrics.Bozhou People's Hospital of Anhui Province from March 2021 to August 2022 were selected.They were divided into conventional group(routine care)and observation group(CGA+routine care)according to random number table method,with 38 cases in each group.The scores of motor function,sleep quality,and self-care ability between two groups before and after intervention were compared.Results After intervention,the scores of the upper,lower limbs,and total score of Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment scale of two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those of observation group were higher than those of conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index scale of two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those of observation group were lower than those of conventional group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of health knowledge,self-responsibility,self-concept,and self-care skills of two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those of observation group were lower than those of conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of CGA intervention in elderly patients with coronary heart disease and debilitating is remarkable,which is helpful to the health of patients.
