Evaluation and reliability validity test of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rating scale of depression
Objective To improve the integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rating scale of depression and its reliability and validity. Methods A total of 702 outpatients and inpatients with depression from Shanghai Mental Health Center and Zhejiang Tongde Hospital from June 2020 to May 2022 were tested.Among them,210 patients were tested by Hamilton depression scale to verify the validity of the system. Results The quantitative evaluation system of depression in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine consists of 43 evaluation items, which were divided into five factors, named as:liver-qi deficiency,liver-qi stagnation,heart-spleen deficiency, kidney deficiency liver-qi depression,liver-gallbladder damp-heat.The retest correlation coefficient of each factor ranges from 0.725 to 0.883,the internal consistency Cronbach's αcoefficient of the total table was 0.827.Kappa coefficient of reliability of each evaluation item 0.625-0.935(P<0.01).In the criterion validity, the total score of scale was positively correlated with the total score of Hamilton depression scale(r=0.407,P<0.01).The results of factor analysis of five factors were generally consistent with the results of design, and the cumulative contribution rate was 39.18%.Conclusion The integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine rating of depression in this study has good reliability and validity, and is feasible and practical in clinical practice.
