Mediating effect of resilience on the level of self-acceptance and hope in mood disorders
Objective To explore the mediating effect of resilience on the level of self-acceptance and hope in mood disor-ders.Methods A total of 89 patients with mood disorders received by the Affiliated Brain Hospital of Nanjing Medical Uni-versity from October 2021 to November 2022 were selected as observation objects.Structural equation model was used to test the mediation effect between variables.Results Flexible scale was(56.33±1.38)points,self-acceptance questionnaire was(30.48±1.55)points,Herth hope scale(33.35±3.43)points,in 89 patients with mood disorders.Self-evaluation was positively correlated with self-improvement(r=0.968,P<0.01).Self-acceptance was negatively correlated with self-im-provement(r=-0.592,P<0.01).The total score of hope level was positively correlated with optimism(r=0.251,P<0.01).Taking positive actions,being close to others,and having a positive attitude toward reality and the future were positively cor-related with self-empowerment(r=0.954,0.946,0.948,P<0.01).The total score of self-acceptance,self-evaluation,and self-acceptance were positively correlated with staying close to others(r=0.944,0.938,0.952,P<0.01),and negatively corre-lated with positive attitudes toward reality and the future(r=-0.608,-0.618,-0.579,P<0.01).The mediating effect of psy-chological resilience between self-acceptance and hope level in 89 patients with psychological disorders was significant(P<0.05),the mediation effect represented 47.80%of the total effect.Conclusion The hope level of mood disorders can in-directly affect the level of self-acceptance through the mental toughness of patients.Clinical nursing staff should focus on improving the mental toughness and hope level of patients with mood disorders.
