Meta-analysis of the application effect of problem-based learning in clini-cal teaching of rheumatology and immunology department
Objective To systematically review the application effect of problem-based learning(PBL)in clinical teaching of rheumatology and im-munology department. Methods CNKI,Wanfang Data,VIP,SinoMed,PubMed,EMbase, and Web of Science Core Collection database were searched to collect randomized controlled trials of PBL used in rheumatology and immunology department from January 2000 to October 2023.Meta-analysis was performed using RevMan 5.4.1.Results A total of seven documents were included for a total of 580 interns. The results showed that PBL group in rheumatology and immunology department was superior to lecture-based learning group on theoretical knowledge score(SMD=2.35,95%CI[1.25 to 3.45],P<0.000 1),skill operation score(SMD=2.53,95%CI[1.30 to 3.75],P<0.000 1),comprehensive evaluation(SMD=2.01,95%CI[0.81 to 3.20],P=0.0010),satisfaction(RR=1.28,95%CI[1.09 to 1.51],P=0.003).Conclusion PBL can improve the teaching effect of rheumatology and immunology department.
