Influence of evidence-based exercise model on the psychological state and social function of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment
Objective To analyze the influence of evidence-based exercise model on the psychological state and social function of elderly patients with mild cognitive impairment(MCI).Methods One hundred and twenty elderly patients with MCI hospitalized at the Fourth People's Hospital of Wuhu,Anhui Province from August 2021 to April 2023 were selected,and they were divided into control group and observation group according to the simple random method,with 60 cases in each group.Control group received routine comprehensive intervention,while observation group re-ceived evidence-based exercise mode intervention on the basis of control group,lasting for ten weeks.Cognitive function,social function,and psy-chological status between two groups were compared before and after intervention.Results After ten weeks of intervention,the scores of mini-men-tal state examination,Montreal cognitive assessment,modified Barthel index,and Philadelphia geriatric center morale scale of two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those of observation group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05);the scores of Hamilton anxi-ety scale and Hamilton depression scale of two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those of observation group were lower than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Evidence-based exercise model can help improve cognitive function,social function,and psycholog-ical state in elderly MCI patients.
