Establishment and application of criteria for Roxadustat drug use evaluation
Objective To establish the Roxadustat drug use evaluation(DUE)standard by DUE method and provide reference for rational use of Roxadustat in clinic.Methods A retrospective analysis method was used to evaluate the archived medical records of 212 patients using Roxadustat in the Second People's Hospital of Fuyang City,Anhui Province from April 2020 to September 2021 according to the established Roxadustat DUE standard.Results The Roxadustat DUE standard was established,which included five parts:drug indication,drug process,high-risk drug interaction,drug outcome,and management index.Among the 212 medical records,nine cases did not meet the drug indications.There were 88 cases of unreasonable usage and dosage.There were 155 cases of unreasonable dose adjustment.There were many high-risk drug interactions with Roxadustat,including 23 cases of unreasonable medical records reduction of drug dosage that could cause drug-drug interaction,two cases of unreasonable medical records reduction of Roxadustat dose,three cases of unreasonable medical records increase of Roxadustat dose,49 cases of unreasonable medical records interval administration,and 117 cases unreasonable medical records avoidance of sharing.A total of 163 patients in 212 medical records did not record the details of Roxadustat or drugs with which there was a high risk of interaction and their reactions after administration.A total of 212 patients were treated with combined drugs for 316 times.Conclusion There are unreasonable phenomena in the use of Roxadustat in the Second People's Hospital of Fuyang City,Anhui province.The established Roxadustat DUE standard has good practicability,and problems or deficiencies in the process of clinical drug use can be found in clinical practice,which plays a positive role in promoting clinical rational drug use.
