Effect of diet planning nursing under cross-theoretical model on blood sugar level and pregnancy outcome of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the effect of diet planning nursing under cross-theoretical model on blood glucose level and pregnancy outcome of patients with gestational diabetes mellitus.Methods Eighty-eight patients with gestational diabetes mellitus admitted to Huaian First People's Hos-pital of Jiangsu Province from February 2020 to February 2023 were selected and divided into control group and research group according to the ran-dom number table,with 44 cases in each group.Control group received routine dietary care,while research group received diet planning nursing un-der cross-theoretical model based on control group.Compliance,blood glucose level and incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes between two groups were compared.Results After nursing,the scores of dietary education,dietary care implementation,dietary contraindications and mainte-nance of dietary habits in two groups were higher than those before nursing,and research group was higher than control group(P<0.05);fasting blood glucose and two-hour postprandial blood glucose levels in two groups were lower than those before nursing,and research group was lower than control group(P<0.05).Total incidence rate of adverse pregnancy outcomes in research group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The diet planning nursing under cross-theoretical model applied in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus can improve the compliance of diet in-struction,reduce blood glucose level and incidence rate of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
