Impact of full life cycle nursing interventions based on health behavior changes integrated theory on frailty and quality of life in maintenance hemodialysis patients
Objective To explore impact of full life cycle nursing interventions based on health behavior changes integrated theory on frailty and quality of life in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 110 maintenance hemodialysis patients who received treatment in Wannan Rehabilitation Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The experimental group received the fun life cycle nursing intervention based on the health behavior changes integrated theory, and the control group received routine nursing.Frailty, dialysis index, and quality of life were compared between the two groups at enrollment and six months after intervention. Results After intervention, frailty scores in both groups were lower than those before intervention, and those in experimental group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).The urea reduction rate and urea clearance index in two groups were lower than those before intervention, and the experimental group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The hematocrit of the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and that of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and the experimental group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Full life cycle nursing interventions based on health behavior changes integrated theory can reduce frailty in maintenance hemodialysis patients, and improve dialysis indicators and quality of life.
