Application of empowerment theory combined with incentive intervention in patients with gallstones and cholecystitis after laparoscopic surgery
Objective To explore the application effect of empowerment theory combined with incentive intervention in patients with gallstones and cholecystitis after laparoscopic surgery. Methods A total of 100 patients with gallstones and cholecystitis after laparoscopic surgery admitted to Nanjing First Hospital,Nanjing Medical University from February 2022 to February 2023 were selected as the study objects, and they were divided into control group and intervention group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received em-powerment theoretical nursing intervention, the intervention group combined with incentive intervention, and both groups were treated until dis-charge.Self-care ability scale, compliance behavior, and quality of life(the World Health Organization quality of life brief scale[WHOQOL-BREF])were observed before and after the intervention in the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the scores of all dimensions of the self-care ability scale in both groups were higher than those before inter-vention,and the scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).At three months after intervention, the pro-portion of compliance behavior in intervention group was higher than that in control group(P<0.05).After intervention, all dimensions of WHO-QOL-BREF scale were higher in both groups than those before intervention, and the intervention group was higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of empowerment theory combined with incentive intervention can improve the self-care ability, compliance be-havior,and quality of life of patients with gallstones and cholecystitis after laparoscopic surgery.
