Study on influencing factors of self-perceived burden in patients with colon cancer after enterostomy
Objective To investigate the self-perceived burden of patients with colon cancer after enterostomy surgery and to analyze its related in-fluencing factors. Methods A total of 82 patients with colon cancer undergoing enterostomy received by the Department of Oncology, the Sixth Peo-ple's Hospital of Nantong from November 2019 to December 2022 were selected as the objects. The situation of postoperative enterostomy patients was investigated by means of questionnaire and self-perceived burden scale(SPBS),and univariate analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted. Results The total score of SPBS of 82 patients with colon cancer after enterostomy was(38.33±3.38)points.There were significant differences in SPBS scores of postoperative colon cancer enterostomy patients with disease awareness, social support rating scale, and they were colostomy complications(P<0.05).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that disease awareness, social support, and presence of enterostomy-complications were influencing factors for the perceived burden of colon cancer enterostomy patients(P<0.05).Conclusion There are many related factors affecting the perceived burden of colon cancer patients with enterostomy. It is necessary to strengthen the health education of patients, give them sufficient social support, strengthen the management and operation of enterostomy, and reduce the perceived burden of colon cancer patients.
