Effect of percutaneous Estradiol Gel combined with acupoint application on endometrial repair after induced abortion in patients with embryo ter-mination
Objective To explore the effect of percutaneous Estradiol Gel combined with acupoint application on endometrium repair after induced abortion in patients with embryo termination.Methods A total of 82 patients with embryo termination who were expected to undergo induced abor-tion admitted to Wuxi Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to May 2023 as the study objects.They were di-vided into two groups by random number table method,with 41 cases in each groups.The control group was given percutaneous Estradiol Gel,and observation group was given percutaneous Estradiol Gel combined with acupoint application,continuous treatment for four weeks.The endometrial thickness of two groups was compared before treatment and after two and four weeks of treatment;the levels of follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),estradiol(E2),luteinizing hormone(LH),and human chorionic gonadotropin(HCG)before and after treatment were compared between two groups;visual analogue scale(VAS)scores were compared between two groups before treatment and three and five days of treatment;the recovery of men-struation was compared between two groups;the occurrence of adverse reactions and postoperative complications were recorded in two groups.Results Overall analysis showed that there were significant differences in endometrial thickness time,intergroup,and interaction between two groups(P＜0.05).Further pairwise comparison,intra-group comparison:after two and four weeks of treatment,endometrial thickness in two groups were higher than those before treatment(P＜0.05);after four weeks of treatment,endometrial thickness in both groups was higher than that after two weeks of treatment(P＜0.05).Comparison between groups:after two and four weeks of treatment,endometrial thickness in observation group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the levels of FSH,E2,and LH were higher than those before treatment,and the level of HCG was lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05);the levels of FSH,E2,and LH in observation group were higher than those in control group,while the level of HCG was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05).Overall analysis showed that there were significant differences in VAS score time,inter group,and interaction between two groups(P＜0.05).Further pairwise comparison,intra-group comparison:at three and five days of treatment,VAS scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.05);at five days of treatment,VAS scores in both groups were lower than those at three days of treatment(P＜0.05).Comparison between groups:at three and five days of treatment,VAS scores of observation group were lower than those of control group(P＜0.05).The recurrence rate of menstruation in observation group was higher than that in control group,the recurrence time was shorter than that in control group,and the reduction rate of menstrual volume was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P＞0.05).There was no significant dif-ference in the total incidence of postoperative complications between two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous Estradiol Gel combined with acupoint application can effectively promote endometrial recovery,improve endocrine hormone levels,relieve pain,and be used safe with fewer complications and adverse reactions.
