Effect of an evidence-based medicine-guided clinical care pathway on patients undergoing endoscopic thyroidectomy
Objective To analyze the effect of an evidence-based medicine-guided clinical care pathway on patients undergoing endoscopic thy-roidectomy.Methods A total of 94 patients undergoing endoscopic thyroidectomy in the Department of Thyroid and Breast Surgery,Huaian First People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to September 2023 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into control group and observation group by odd-even method,with 47 cases in each group.The control group received traditional nursing,and observation group re-ceived evidence based medicine guided clinical nursing path intervention.The anxiety,depression,quality of life,and self-efficacy of two groups were compared before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the scores of anxiety and depression in two groups were lower than those before intervention,and those in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of self-efficacy assessment scale in the two groups were higher than those before intervention,and those in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical care pathway intervention for patients undergoing endoscopic thyroidecto-my can improve psychological anxiety and depression,enhance self-cognition and behavioral self-efficacy for disease rehabilitation,and thus im-prove the quality of life of patients,which is suitable for clinical promotion and application.
