Effect of Snyder hope theory intervention on hope level in patients with cirrhosis
Objective To explore the effect of Snyder hope theory intervention on hope level in patients with cirrhosis.Methods A total of 108 patients with cirrhosis in the Huaian NO.4 People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province from September 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects.According to random number table method,the patients were divided into control group and observation group,with 54 cases in each group.The control group received routine intervention,and the observation group received Snyder hope theory intervention based on the control group.The hope level,mental resilience,and quality of life of the two groups were compared before intervention and four weeks after intervention.Results After four weeks of intervention,hope level,psychological resilience,and quality of life scores of both groups were higher than those before intervention,and those of observation group were higher than those of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The implementation of the Snyder hope theory will help build patients'confidence and hope in disease treatment,and promote the improvement of patients'quality of life.
