Analysis of the current status and influencing factors of self-management ability of continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis patients
Objective To investigate the self-management ability ofcontinuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD)patients and analyze its in-fluencing factors.Methods A total of 159 patients who completed CAPD in the dialysis room of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January to April 2023 were selected as the study objects by convenient sampling method.General data questionnaire and CAPD patient self-management scale were used to investigate,the influencing factors of CAPD patient self-management was analyzed by single factor and multiple linear regression.Results The total score of self-management ability was(53.78±14.79)scores.There were statistically significant dif-ferences in the scores of self-management ability among different age,education level,occupation,family monthly income,place of residence,dialy-sis age,daily number of dialysis bags,times of seeking medical help,occurrence of peritonitis and infection at the exit,unauthorized drug use and drug withdrawal(P＜0.05).Age,education level,family monthly income,dialysis age,times of seeking medical help,and occurrence of peritonitis were the influencing factors of CAPD patients'self-management ability(P＜0.05).Conclusion The leavel of CAPD patients,self-management must to be desired,doctors and nurses should take appropriate measures to intervene the influencing factors to improve the self-management ability of the patients.
