Analysis of the status quo and influencing factors of family decision conflict of patients in intensive care unit
Objective To analyze the status quo and influencing factors of family decision conflict of patients in intensive care unit(ICU).Methods Convenience sampling method was used to select 193 family members of ICU patients in the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from April 2022 to April 2023 as the research objects.General situation questionnaire, decision conflict scale(DCS),and preparation decision making(Prep DM)scale were used for investigation.Single factor analysis and multiple linear regression were used to analyze the influencing factors of family decision conflict of ICU patients. Results A total of 193 questionnaires were sent out in this study, and 184 were effectively collected, with an effective recovery rate of 95.34%.The total DCS score of 184 family members of ICU patients was(33.17±6.09)points,indicating a moderate level of decision conflict.Univariate analysis showed that the total DCS score of family members with different age, education level, and monthly income had statistical significance(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that the total DCS score was negatively correlated with the total Prep DM scale score(r=-0.334,P<0.05).Multiple linear regression equation:DCS total score=45.061+1.145 × age-2.989 × education-2.078 × monthly income-0.081 × Prep DM scale total score(R2=0.391,adjusted R2=0.377,F=28.700,P<0.05).Conclusion Family members of ICU patients has a moderate level of decision conflict, and the influencing factors are age, education level, monthly income, and Prep DM.
