Correlation between serum soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1/placental growth factor ratio, uterine artery pulsatility index and preeclampsia in mid-pregnancy
Objective To investigate the correlation between serum soluble fms-like tyrosine kinase-1(sFlt-1)/placenta growth factor(PLGF)ra-tio,uterine artery pulsatility index(PI)and preeclampsia(PE)in mid-pregnancy.Methods A total of 146 pregnant women who gave birth in Tang-shan Maternal and Child Health Hospital of Hebei Province from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into control group and PE group according to whether PE occurrence.General and clinical data of two groups were collected, and sFlt-1,PLGF,sFlt-1/PLGF ratio, and PI were compared in mid-pregnancy,and the influencing factors of PE occurrence were analyzed. Results Among 146 pregnant women,73 developed PE,and the incidence was 50%.Gestational age of PE group was lower than that of control group, and the differ-ence was statistically significant(P<0.05).sFlt-1,sFlt-1/PLGF ratio, and PI in PE group were higher than those in control group, and PLGF was lower than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).sFlt-1,PLGF,and sFlt-1/PLGF ratio were the influ-encing factors of PE occurrence(P<0.05).Conclusion Serum sFlt-1/PLGF in mid-pregnancy is the influencing factor of PE occurrence, while unterine artery PI has no effect on its occurrency. And relevant indicators should be closely observed and effective and reasonable intervention should be carried out.
