Effect of health education based on symptom management strategy in pa-tients with high throughput hemodialysis
Objective To study the effect of health education based on symptom management strategy in high throughput hemodialysis patients. Methods Ninety highthroughput hemodialysis patients admitted to Lishui Central Hospital of Zhejiang Province from January 2022 to March 2023 were selected and divided into routine group(45 cases, receiving routine health education intervention)and symptom management group(45 cases, receiving health education intervention based on symptom management strategy)according to random number table method. Both groups were treat-ed for three months. The physical fitness index and self-management ability of the two groups were compared before and after intervention, and the clinical compliance of the two groups was analyzed. Results After intervention, aerobic endurance, upper limb muscle strength, lower limb muscle strength, and dynamic balance ability in symptom management group were better than those before intervention and those of control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of self-management ability,self-management consciousness, health cognition, and self-concept in both groups were higher than those before treatment, and those in symptom management group were higher than those in conventional group(P<0.05).The clinical compliance of symptom management group was better than that of conventional group(P<0.05).Conclusion Health education based on symptom management strategy is effective in high throughput hemodialysis patients.
