Effect of management intervention based on multidisciplinary team longi-tudinal cohort study on self-regulation and safety in elderly diabetic pa-tients with insulin injection
Objective To explore effect of management intervention based on multidisciplinary team(MDT)longitudinal cohort study on self-regu-lation and safety in elderly diabetic patients with insulin injection. Methods Eighty-two elderly diabetic patients with insulin injection admitted to Department of Endocrinology in Jiangsu Province Hospital of Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to July 2023 were selected as research objects, and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method, with 41 cases in each group.Control group implemented routine management intervention mode, while observation group implemented management intervention mode based on MDT longitudinal cohort study on the basis of control group, with intervention period of three months.Scores of self-injection and self-monitoring fear scale and self-management be-havior scale before and after intervention, and incidence rate of complications between two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the scores of self-injection and self-monitoring fear scales of two groups were lower than before intervention, and those in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).After intervention, the scores of each dimension of self-management behavior scale in two groups were higher than before intervention, and those in observation group were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).Total incidence rate of complications in observation group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Management intervention model based on MDT longitudinal forma-tion is helpful to reduce the negative mental state such as fear and resistance of elderly diabetic patients with insulin injection, improve their ability to self-management behavior and prevent complications.
