Application of health education model for ophthalmic day surgery based on ECRS modelin cataract patients
Objective To explore application effect of health education model for ophthalmic day surgery based on ECRS model in cataract patients.Methods Eighty cataract patients underwent daytime surgery in Anhui Second People's Hospital from June 2022 to August 2023 were selected and divided into two groups by using random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.Control group received routine health edu cation,while observation group received health education model for ophthalmic day surgery based on ECRS model.Knowledge mastery,self-care ability before and after intervention,and satisfaction with ophthalmic day surgery after intervention between two groups were compared.Results Af-ter intervention,self-evaluation scores of patients in two groups were higher than those before intervention,and observation group was higher than control group(P＜0.05).After intervention,preoperative medication,preoperative diet,surgical process,psychological state,sense of self-care re-sponsibility,self-care skills and self-care related knowledge scores in observation group were higher than those before intervention and those in control group(P＜0.05).Satisfaction score of ophthalmic day surgery in observation group was higher than that in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Health education model for ophthalmic day surgery based on ECRS model can improve the health knowledge,self-care skills and satisfaction of cataract patients.
