Investigation and study on the inheritance and development of Manchu medicine in Liaoning Province
Objective To study the inheritance and development of Manchu medicine in Liaoning Province,and to analyze the important factors limiting the inheritance and development of Manchu medicine,and to propose corresponding countermeasures.Methods A total of 90 Manchu townships in Liaoning Province were selected,and ten medicinal herb growers and ten ordinary people,five Manchu doctors,and ten government departments were randomly selected from each Manchu township using RAND function.The method of literature research,questionnaire survey,and interview was adopted.Results There was only one policy related to Manchu medicine.The number of people who know Manchu medicine was 80％,and the number of people who trust Manchu medicine was as low as 18％.There were few academic literatures on Manchu medicine.There were only 71 literatures in CNKI,and 424 literatures in Wanfang Data.There were 450 medical schools in Manchu,and only one had bachelor's degree.Among the 900 medicinal herb growers,378 selected medicinal materials according to the market conditions this year,425 planted accord-ing to their own experience in terms of planting technology,and 259 expressed satisfaction in terms of economic income.Conclusion The inheri-tance and sustainable development of Manchu medicine can be guaranteed by improving policy support,strengthening publicity,sorting out clas-sics,accelerating talent training,and promoting standardized planting of Manchu medicinal materials.
