Preventive effect of predictive care based on modified Caprini risk assess-ment on venous thromboembolism in patients with different degrees of wound burn
Objective To investigate the preventive effect of predictive care based on modified Caprini risk assessment on venous thromboem-bolism(VTE)in patients with different degrees of wound burn. Methods A total of 334 burn patients who visited the Department of Burns,Jinhua Central Hospital,Zhejiang Province from January 2022 to September 2023 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to non-simultaneous cohort study method. The control group(186 cases)received routine VTE care provided by Caprini risk assessment, the observation group(148 patients)received predictive care based on modified Caprini risk assessment. After intervention, the incidence of VTE,identification rate of high risk VTE,and coagulation function of the two groups were compared. Results After intervention, the incidence of VTE in observation group was lower than that in control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After in-tervention,the identification rate of high risk VTE in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statisti-cally significant(P<0.05).The prothrombin time(PT)and activated partial thrombin time(APTT)of the two groups were shorter than before inter-vention,and fibrinogen(FIB)was higher than before intervention, and PT and APTT in observation group were shorter than those in control group,FIB in observation group was higher than that in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For burn patients, compared with routine VTE care based on Caprini risk assessment, predictive care based on modified Caprini risk assessment can better prevent the occurrence of VTE and improve the coagulation function of patients, and is worth promoting.
