Application effect of case management based on health belief model in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding
Objective To explore the application effect of case management based on health belief model in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding. Methods A total of 100 patients with gastrointestinal bleeding diagnosed and treated in West China School of Medicine West China Hospital of Sichuan University from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the study objects,According to random number table method, the patients were divided into control group and observation group, with 50 in cases each group. The control group received routine case management interven-tion,and the observation group combined with the case management intervention based on the health belief model on the basis of the control group, continued to intervene until the patients were discharged. The recovery and health behavior of the two groups were compared and followed up for six months, and the incidence of rebleeding was analyzed. Results The time of hemostasis in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in blood transfusion volume and hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the health promoting lifestyle profile-Ⅱ score of the two groups was higher than before inter-vention,and the observation group was higher than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After six months of follow-up,the rebleeding rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Case management intervention based on health belief model can shorten the hemostatic time of patients with digestive tract bleeding, promote the development of healthy behavior and reduce the rate of rebleeding.
