Clinical effect of Qingre Yangyin Jiedu Prescription in the treatment of radiation-induced lung toxicity with exuberance of lung heat type
Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Qingre Yangyin Jiedu Prescription in the treatment of radiation-induced lung toxicity(RILT)with exuberance of lung heat type.Methods Eighty-nine RILT patients with exuberance of lung heat type admitted to Haian Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method,45 patients in the control group and 44 patients in the observation group.The control group was given hormone therapy,intravenous injection of Dexamethasone Sodium Phosphate Injection(5 mg/d),the observation group was given QingreYangyin Jiedu Pre-scription on the basis of hormone therapy.After continuous administration for 15 days,the clinical effect and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of the patients were evaluated,and serum inflammatory factors,pulmonary function indexes,and adverse drug reactions were detected.Results The curative effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in the main syndrome,secondary syndrome,and total score of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,the main syndrome,secondary syndrome,and total score of traditional Chi-nese medicine syndrome in the two groups were lower than before treatment,and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in forced vital capacity and forced expiratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity between the two groups(P＞0.05).After treatment,forced vital capacity and forced ex-piratory volume in one second/forced vital capacity of the two groups were higher than before treatment,and those of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).There was no significant difference in the total in-cidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Qingre Yangyin Jiedu Prescription can improve the clinical efficacy of RILT patients with exuberance of lung heat type,improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,and enhance lung function.
