Application of finger rehabilitation exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint massage in patients undergoing transradial coronary intervention surgery
Objective To explore the application of finger rehabilitation exercise combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint massage in patients undergoing transradial coronary interventional(TRI)surgery. Methods From June 2022 to October 2023,150 patients who underwent TRI treatment in Department of Cardiovascular Medicine,Wenzhou Central Hospital were selected.According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and experimental group, with 75 cases in each group. The control group received traditional body exercise, and the experimental group received finger rehabilitation exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint massage. The pain levels of two groups were compared before surgery and 2,4,6,24 h after surgery;the degree of palm swelling and the occurrence of acrocyanosis and limb numbness were compared between two groups;the conditions of forearm hematoma and errhysis were compared between two groups;the scores of general comfort questionnaire(GCQ)were compared before surgery, return to the observation room after surgery, and removal of the oppressor;the occurrence of complications in two groups were recorded;and the satisfaction of the two groups was compared. Results Overall analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in visual analogue scale(VAS)score time comparison,inter-group comparison, and interaction be-tween the two groups(P<0.05).Further pairwise comparison,intra-group comparison:VAS scores were compared between two groups at each time point, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);comparison among groups:at 2,4,6,and 24 h after surgery,VAS score of experi-mental group were lower than those of control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The degree of palm swelling, and the incidence of acrocyanosis and limb numbness in experimental group were lower than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in forearm hematoma and errhysis between the two groups(P<0.05).The over-all analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in GCQ scores time comparison,inter-group comparison, and interaction be-tween two groups(P<0.05).Further pairwise comparison,intra-group comparison:the scores of psychological, physiological, spiritual, and socio-cultural and environmental were compared between two groups at each time point, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);com-parison among groups:the scores of psychological, physiological, spiritual, and sociocultural and environmental return to the observation room after surgery and removal of the oppressor in experimental group were higher than those in control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total complication rate of experimental group was lower than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total satisfaction of experimental group was higher than that of control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Finger rehabilitation exercises combined with traditional Chinese medicine acupoint massage can speed up blood circulation, relieve swelling, promote limb recovery, reduce complications, and improve satisfaction.
