Application effect of acupoint massage intervention in patients with cere-bral infarction
Objective To observe the effect of acupoint massage intervention in patients with cerebral infarction.Methods A total of 120 patients with cerebral infarction admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the Eighth People's Hospital of Hefei from May 2019 to May 2023 were included in the study and they were divided into two groups according to random number table method,with 60 patients in each group.The control group received basic nursing,and the study group received basic nursing intervention and acupoint massage.The intervention time of both groups was one week.The changes of cognition,limb,nerve function,and daily living ability of the two groups were observed before and af-ter intervention.Results After intervention,the score of the National Institutes of Health stroke scale in both groups was lower than before interven-tion,and that in the study group was lower than that in the control group;the score of the mini-mental state examination in both groups was higher than before intervention,and that in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the degree of limb dysfunction of the two groups was less than that before intervention,and that in the study group was less than that in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).After intervention,the activity of daily living scale in the study group was better than before intervention,and that in the study group was better than that in the control group,and the differences were statis-tically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion Acupoint massage has positive effects on the improvement of nerve,cognition,limb function,and daily living ability in patients with cerebral infarction.
