Application effect of intervention strategy based on adaptive leadership theory in patients with stoma of colorectal cancer
Objective To observe the effect of an intervention strategy based on adaptive leadership theory(ALT)in patients with stoma of colorec-tal cancer. Methods A total of 110 patients with stoma of colorectal cancer admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital Nanjing Medical University from June 2020 to June 2023 were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 55 cases in each group. The control group took routine intervention during hospitalization, the observation group took intervention strategy based on ALT.The scores of the early version of the ostomy self-care scale(SSCS),the ostomy self-efficacy questionnaire(SSES),and the ostomy adjustment inventory(OAI)were com-pared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in SSCS scores be-tween the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the SSCS scores of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and those in the obser-vation group were higher than those in the the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no significant difference in stoma care, social function, and SSES total score between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the ostomy care,so-cial function, and SSES total score of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no significant difference in total score of OAI between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the total score of OAI in the two groups was higher than before intervention, and that in the observation group was higher than that in the the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The inter-vention strategy based on ALT can improve the self-care level,self-efficacy,and social psychological adaptation level of patients with stoma of col-orectal cancer.
