Application effect of vacuum-sealing drainage technology in the repair of refractory wounds
Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum-sealing drainage technology in the repair of refractory wounds.Methods A total of 104 cases of refractory wounds admitted to Linyi Central Hospital,Shandong Province from June 2017 to June 2023 were collected and they were divid-ed into the study group and the control group by random number table method,with 52 cases in each group.The control group received routine dressing change treatment,and the study group received vacuum-sealing drainage treatment.The wound healing of the two groups was evaluated.Scar score(thickness,color,softness,blood vessel distribution),serum inflammatory factor index,pain score,comfort score,and quality of life score were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results The wound healing of the study group was better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in scar thickness,color,soft-ness,and vascular distribution scores between the two groups(P>0.05),after treatment,scar thickness,color,softness,and vascular distribution scores in two groups were lower than before treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,and procalcitonin be-tween the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,C-reactive protein,interleukin-6,and procalcitonin in two groups were lower than before treat-ment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treat-ment,there was no significant difference in pain and comfort scores between the two groups(P>0.05),after treatment,the pain score of both groups was lower than before treatment,and the comfort score was higher than before treatment,and the pain score of the study group was lower than that of the control group,and the comfort score was higher than that of the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before treatment,there were no significant differences in physiological,psychological,social,and environmental scores between the two groups(P>0.05),after treatment,the physiological,psychological,social,and environmental scores of both groups were higher than before treatment,and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of vacuum-sealing drainage technology to repair refractory wounds has a more obvious effect,which can reduce the inflammatory reaction and pain of the wound,reduce the scarring situation,and improve the comfort and quality of life level of the patients.
