Application effect of information-motivation-behaviour skills model of bundled intervention programme in patients with spinal fracture com-bined with spinal cord injury
Objective To explore the application effect of information-motivation-behaviour skills model of bundled intervention programme in patients with spinal fracture combined with spinal cord injury. Methods One hundred and eighteen patients with spinal fracture combined with spinal cord injury included in the Huaian First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University,Jiangsu Province, from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and they were randomly divided into the conventional group and the IMB group according to the enve-lope-drawing method, with 59 cases in each group. The conventional group implemented conventional nursing interventions, and the IMB group implementer IMB model of bundled intervention programme on the basis of conventional nursing.Intervention outcomes, quality of life,psychologi-cal resilience,post-traumatic growth and comorbidities were compared between the two groups before intervention and one month after intervention. Results Before the intervention, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of intervention outcomes, quality of life, psychological resilience, and post-traumatic growth(P>0.05).After the intervention, the tactile scores, motor scores, and relative height of the vertebrae were higher in both groups than before intervention, and the IMB group was higher than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Cobb's angle was smaller than before intervention in both groups, and the IMB group was smaller than the con-ventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The quality of life scores of the two groups were higher than before interven-tion,and the IMB group was higher than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of the psycholog-ical resilience scale of both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the IMB group was higher than the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the scores of the post-traumatic growth scale of both groups were higher than those before inter-vention,and the IMB group was higher than the conventional group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total complication rate of the IMB group was lower than that of the conventional group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The ap-plication of the IMB model of bundled intervention programme in patients with spinal fracture with spinal cord injury demonstrates significant ef-fectiveness.
