Study on the influence of toy ball training under dynamic brace on the re-covery of hand function of patients with flexor tendon rupture after hand injury
Objective To explore the study on the influence of toy ball training under dynamic brace on the recovery of hand function of patients with flexor tendon rupture after hand injury. Methods A total of 116 patients with hand trauma flexor tendon rupture who underwent surgical treat-ment in the Department of Orthopedics of Huaian First Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University,Jiangsu Province, from March 2021 to February 2023 were selected, and they were divided into the control group and the experimental group by random number table method, with 58 cases in each group. The control group performed routine care and training, and the experimental group was trained with toy ball training under dy-namic brace on the basis of the control group.Total active motion(TAM)and complication rate of the two groups were compared;hand function was compared before and after six weeks of training. Results The TAM in the experimental group was better than that in the control group, and the dif-ference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of hematoma, joint stiffness, tendon adhesion, and tendon rupture in the experi-mental group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Before training, the hand function scores of the two groups were compared, and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05);after training, the grip strength,three-point pinch strength, and measured pinch strength of the two groups were higher than those before training, and the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Dynamic brace toy ball training is helpful to im-prove the total mobility of finger tendon after flexor tendon rupture, reduce postoperative complications and promote the recovery of hand function.
