Application effect of early planning behavior theory to guide dietary nu-trition nursing in pregestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To explore the application effect of early planning behavior theory to guide dietary nutrition nursing in pregestational dia-betes mellitus. Methods One hundred and seventeen patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)combined with pregnancy who underwent labor and delivery in the Department of Obstetrics,Huaian First People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province, from January 2021 to December 2022.A random-ized numerical table method was used to divide them into conventional group(58 cases)and early group(59 cases).Routine perinatal nursing was used in the routine group, and dietary nutritional nursing guided by the early planning theory behavior was provided in the early group on the basis of the routine group. The glucose metabolism indexes, lipid metabolism indexes, adult diabetic knowledge scale(ADKnowl)scores, and delivery outcomes were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. Results Three months after the intervention, serum fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose, and glycosylated hemoglobin levels were lower in both groups than before the intervention, and lower in the early group than in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After three months of intervention,ADKnowl scores were higher than before intervention in both groups, and higher in the early group than in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes of macrosomia, low birth weight, and neonatal hypoglycemia in the early group was lower than that in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Dietary nutrition nursing guided by early planning behavior theory can improve the glucose function of diabetes patients after pregnancy and improve their pregnancy out-comes.
