Influence on nutritional index and prognosis of patients with early enteral nutrition support after gastrectomy under reform theory nursing
Objective To explore the influence on nutritional index and prognosis of patients with early enteral nutrition support after gastrectomy under reform theory nursing. Methods A total of 118 patients with gastrectomy admitted to the Department of Enteric Surgery of the Affiliated Hua-ian No.1 People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from September 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the observation objects, according to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and study group, with 59 cases in each group. The control group imple-mented conventional nutritional care measures and the study group implemented nutritional care measures under the change theory on the basis of routine care measures.Changes in nutritional indices, symptom improvement, complications, and other indicators were observed in the two groups before and after intervention. Results There was no significant difference in nutrition index between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05);after intervention, all nutritional indices of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and the study group was higher than the control group, the differences weres statistically significant(P<0.05);recovery of bowel sounds, first meal, first anal evacuation, first bowel movement, mean length of hospital stay time of study group was shorter than that of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the total complication rate of the study group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing under the change theory is helpful to improve the nutritional index of patients with early enteral nutrition support after gastrectomy, shorten the recovery time, and reduce complications.
