Influence of nursing intervention based on IKAP theory on emotional state, lifestyle and rebleeding rate of patients with peptic ulcer bleeding
Objective To investigate influence of nursing intervention based on IKAP theory on emotional state, lifestyle and rebleeding rate of pa-tients with peptic ulcer bleeding. Methods One hundred patients with peptic ulcer bleeding admitted to the Second People's Hospital of Hefei in Anhui Province from April 2022 to October 2023 were selected and divided into control group and observation group by using random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while observation group received nursing interventions based on IKAP theory.Scores of Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA),Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),health promoting lifestyle profile-Ⅱ(HPLP-Ⅱ),and hemoglobin levels before and after intervention between two groups were compared.Rebleeding rate between two groups was compared. Results Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in HAMA and HAMD scores between two groups(P>0.05).After in-tervention,HAMA and HAMD scores of two groups were lower than before intervention, and those in observation group were lower than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no statistically significant differences in HPLP-Ⅱ score and hemoglobin level between two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,HPLP-Ⅱ scores and hemoglobin levels in two groups were higher than before intervention, and those in observation group were higher than those in control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Rebleeding rate in observation group was lower than that in control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on IKAP theory can effectively improve emotional state of patients with peptic ulcer bleeding, promote healthy behavior and lifestyle, reduce rebleeding, and which is worth promoting.
