Effect of recumbent gymnastics on somatic function in maintenance hemodialysis patients
Objective To investigate the effect of recumbent gymnastics on somatic function in maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods A to-tal of 100 patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis treatment in the Blood Purification Center,Wenzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine from July 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into control group and inter-vention group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine hemodialysis care, and the intervention group received recumbent gymnastics intervention after the start of hemodialysis treatment on the basis of the control group.General data of all patients were collected and statistically analyzed.somatic function was evaluated by the 36-item short from health survey(SF-36)before intervention,at 4,8,and 12 weeks, respectively;muscle strength and endurance of lower limb muscles were evaluated by 60 s sit-to-stand times(STS-60);upper arm circumference was measured by tape measure;and grip strength was measured by a special grip strength table. Results Over-all analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in SF-36 score,STS-60,upper arm circumference, grip strength time com-parison,inter-group comparison, and interaction between the two groups(P<0.05).Further pair-to-pair comparison and intra-group comparison:SF-36 score,STS-60,upper arm circumference, and grip strength between the two groups before intervention, and 4 weeks after intervention showed no statistical significances(P>0.05);after 8 weeks of intervention,SF-36 score,STS-60,upper arm circumference, and grip strength of the two groups were higher than before intervention and after 4 weeks of intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after 12 weeks of intervention,SF-36 score,STS-60,upper arm circumference, and grip strength of the two groups were higher than before intervention, after 4 weeks of intervention and after 8 weeks of intervention, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Intergroup comparison:after 8 and 12 weeks of intervention,SF-36 score,STS-60,upper arm circumference, and grip strength in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The intervention of recumbent gymnastics on maintenance hemodialysis patients has a good effect on improving the somatic function.
