Analysis of influencing factors on refractive error after phacoemulsifica-tion combined with intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia and cataract
Objective To analyze influencing factors on refractive error after phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in patients with high myopia and cataract. Methods Clinical data of cataract patients underwent phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens implantation in Ophthalmology Department of Dongzhimen Hospital in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine from January 2020 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed.Based on absolute refractive error of patient one month after surgery,37 eyes with refractive error of 0.04 to less than 1.00 D were included in the ideal postoperative refractive state group, and 17 eyes with refractive error of 1.00 to 3.61 D were included in the poor postoperative refractive state group.Relevant indicators between two groups were compared.Independent influencing factors of postoperative refractive error were explored by using logistic regression analysis. Results Results of univariate analysis showed that there were statistically signifi-cant differences between two groups in terms of gender, age, preoperative best corrected visual acuity, axial length and intraocular lens degree(P<0.05).Results of multivariate analysis showed that age(OR=1.170,95%CI:1.026-1.334,P=0.019),and axial length(OR=2.682,95%CI:1.109-6.487,P=0.029)were independent risk factors for postoperative refractive error in patients. Conclusion Analyzing of influencing factors on postoperative refractive error in patients with high myopia combined with cataract, and provide reliable theoretical basis for improving clinical treatment effect of this disease.
