Effect of rehabilitation nursing model guided by precision medicine framework on rehabilitation effect in radiotherapy patients after radical mastectomy
Objective To investigate the effect of rehabilitation nursing model guided by precision medicine framework on rehabilitation effect in radiotherapy patients after radical mastectomy.Methods A total of 89 radiotherapy patients after radical mastectomy in Huaian First People's Hospi-tal of Jiangsu Province from June 2021 to June 2023 were selected as research objects,and they were divided into the control group(44 cases)and the study group(45 cases)according to stratified random sampling method.The control group received routine rehabilitation nursing,while the study group received rehabilitation nursing model guided by precision medicine framework,both groups were intervened for six radiotherapy cy-cles.Psychological status,shoulder joint function,symptom distress,and quality of life before and after intervention between the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,mental health continuum-short form scores and shoulder and hand scores of the two groups were lower than before intervention,and those in the study group were lower than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of all dimensions of memory symptom assessment scale in the control group were higher than before intervention,while the scores of all dimensions of memory symptom assessment scale in the study group were lower than before intervention and those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the scores of all dimensions of European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life questionnaire-core 30 in both groups were higher than before intervention,and those in the study group were higher than those in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Rehabilitation nursing model guided by precision medicine framework can improve shoulder joint function,alleviate symptoms,and improve mental health and quality of life for radiothera-py patients after radical mastectomy.
