Clinical effect of stellate ganglion block combined with Compound Met-hoxyamine Capsules in the treatment of post-infectious cough
Objective To investigate the clinical effict and safety of stellate ganglion block(SGB)combined with Compound Methoxyamine Capsules in the treatment of post-infectious cough(PIC).Methods A total of 117 patients with PIC admitted to No.904 Hospital of the Joint Logistics Support Force of the Chinese People's Liberation Army from February 2023 to February 2024 were divided into control group(59 cases)and observation group(58cases)by random number table method. The control group was given Compound Methoxyamine Capsules orally, and the observation group was given Compound Methoxyamine Capsules orally combined with SGB.Both groups were treated continuously for ten days. The clinical efficacy, sputum volume score, cough score, serum Substance P(SP),interleukin-8(IL-8),C-reactive protein(CRP)levels before and after treatment and the occurrence of adverse reactions during treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the sputum volume score and cough score of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and those in the observation group werelower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The clinical effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of SP,IL-8,and CRP in both groups were lower than before treatment, and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion SGB combined with Compound Methoxyamine Capsules has obvious clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of PIC,without obvious adverse reactions.
