The emphasis on the"student-centered"outcome-based education(OBE)teaching method offers novel insights for personnel training and teaching mode reform.This paper,in conjunction with the characteristics of a health toxicology course,focuses on studying the concept of OBE concept as a staring point for designing and implementing ideological and political classroom teaching within the course.Taking chapter 1 introduction section's third part,"Basic concepts of toxicology,"as an example,this study constructs three advanced teaching modes:pre-class independent learning(foundation),in-class deep learning(enhancement),and post-class extension and expansion(expansion).These modes are guided by ideological and political cases while incorporating practical cases that align with student characteristics and teaching content design.The practice demonstrated that this teaching design effectively facilitates independent learning among students,thereby transitioning the teaching objective from knowledge transfer to fostering abilities and values.This approach contributes to the cultivation of highly competent preventive medicine professionals who qualified for public health positions.
