Investigation and analysis of satisfaction of standardized training of pediatric nurses
Objective To investigate and analyze satisfaction of standardized training of pediatric nurses.Methods A total of 123 pediatric nurses participated in standardized training at Beijing Children's Hospital,Capital Medical University in 2022 and 2023 were selected as the research subjects,with study period from January to March 2024.A questionnaire survey was used to understand the satisfaction of pediatric standardized training nurses with standardized training,negative experiences during standardized training and evaluation of shortcomings in standardized training.Results A total of 123 questionnaires were distributed in this study,and 123 valid questionnaires were collected,with a valid questionnaire response rate of 100%.The intention of pediatric training nurses to recommend this job to others was(8.73±1.97)points.Nineteen pediatric training nurses with intention to resign had a total of 42 negative experiences during the training period,among which high work pressure and insufficient rest time were the reasons for their highest frequency of intention to resign,accounting for 40.5%.One hundred and twenty-three pediatric standardized training nurses gave a total of 160 evaluations on the shortcomings of current standardized training.Among them,the top three were inadequate training time,inflexible training forms,and weak correlation between training and promotion,salary,etc.There were statistically significant differences in the satisfaction of standardized training curriculum of pediatric standardized training nurses with different ages,genders,educational backgrounds,professional titles and job nature(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the satisfaction of standardized training curriculum of pediatric standardized training nurses with different marital status,professional experience and internship methods(P>0.05).Conclusion At present,the satisfaction rate of pediatric nurses with standardized training is relatively high,but the satisfaction rate of master's degree standardized training nurses is low.There are shortcomings such as the contradiction between the work and training time of pediatric standardized training nurses,and the need for improvement in training forms.Nursing managers and educators can enhance their psychological attention to trained nurses,establish a hierarchical training mechanism,improve encouragement and feedback mechanisms,and establish flexible learning systems according to needs to alleviate training conflicts for trained nurses.
