Survey study on the construction of a humanistic hospital in multi-campus districts of public hospitals based on the perspectives of medical personnel
Objective To investigate the cognition and satisfaction of medical staff in different wards of public hospitals towards the construction of humanistic hospitals,and to discover the cognitive differences and existing problems among medical staff in different wards,feasible opinions and suggestions are proposed for the future construction of humanistic hospitals under the management of multi-campus districts.Methods In November 2023,a survey was conducted using convenient random sampling,using a self-designed questionnaire,in accordance with the distribution of the hospital districts of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital,in Xinjiekou Hospital District,Huilongguan Hospital District,and Xinlongze Hospital District to extract the medical staff to conduct a survey on their basic situation,their knowledge of medical humanities,and their understanding and satisfaction with the construction of humanistic hospitals.Results A total of 1 066 questionnaires were distributed and collected,with an effective response rate of 100％.Medical staff from three hospital districts believed that their understanding of medical humanities was average,average score was 7.43±2.58.Believing that the patient's medical experience and humanistic concepts were the core content and important aspects of the construction of humanistic hospitals.There was statistical significance in the degree of understanding of humanistic hospital construction among medical staff of different genders,departments and districts(P＜0.05).There was statistical significance in the overall satisfaction of medical staff of different genders,age,department,working years,and district to the construction of humanistic hospital(P＜0.05).Conclusion It is necessary to further improve the medical staff's cognition of humanistic medicine and build a perfect humanistic hospital construction system.In the construction of humanistic hospitals in multi-campus districts,it is necessary seek common ground while reserving differences,take multiple measures to solve the cognitive differences,and enhance the satisfaction and sense of gain of medical staff.
