Research progress on clinical application and mechanism of Wuling San
Wuling San is a classic formula for treating yang's failure to transform qi and the internal suspension of water-dampness,which comes from Shanghan Zabing Lun by the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing.The formula is rigorous and well-matched,and it is often used by ancient and modern medical practitioners in the treatment of various diseases,and the scope of its application has been expanding continuously.With the emphasis on the prescription,Wuling San has been widely used in cardiovascular system,nervous system,digestive system,urinary system,respiratory system,endocrine system,and other diseases,which have better therapeutic effects.Wuling San has anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidative stress,anti-apoptosis,protection of brain tissue,restoration of intestinal flora,anti-renal interstitial fibrosis,regulation of water,lipid and uric acid metabolism.This article aims to conduct modern literature review and summary of clinical application and mechanism of action of Wuling San.
