Application exploration on Xuming Tang of Jingui Yaolüe in the syndrome differentiation and treatment of cerebral infarction based on"external wind theory"
Today's scholars treat cerebral infarction based on basic principle of promoting blood circulation and unblocking collaterals,with almost no use of wind dispelling drugs.However,throughout the literature of various dynasties,wind evil plays an important role in the pathogenesis of cerebral infarction.Theory of"stroke"originates from the Huangdi Neijing,which establishes the rule of treating"wind"in Shanghan Lun;Jingui Yaolüe establishes theoretical system of principles,methods,prescriptions and medicines for the differentiation and treatment of"stroke",including elucidate the connotation of"wind"theory;propose"stroke"theory,including name,pathogenesis,treatment principles,and treatment methods of stroke;the selection of prescriptions and medication is represented by Xuming Tang of JinguiYaoliie,and combined with clinical application examples,it elaborates on the treatment of external wind in stroke.And through a clinical case,traditional Chinese medicine diagnosed it as a stroke in the middle meridian,which belongs to the syndrome of wind in the meridian and yingwei stagnation.Treatment is based on dispelling wind and harmonizing collaterals,and penetrating yingwei,the formula is modified with Xuming Tang.This article aims to promote inheritance and innovation of classic prescriptions by elucidating the theory of external wind in stroke and clinical application of wind treatment prescriptions in the treatment of cerebral infarction.
