Research progress of the effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on human health
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons are an important class of organic compounds. In recent years, pollution of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the atmosphere has become increasingly severe. They can enter human body through respiratory, digestive and skin contact, and cause serious harm to human body by inducing cytochrome P450 enzyme groups and forming DNA adducts.Although emissions of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons have been regulated, they still have serious impacts on human health, and therefore require close attention to their various effects. This article reviews definition of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, their entry routes into human body, their impact on human health, and the mechanisms of their effects on various systems of human body, and provide theoretical basis for future prevention and control of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon pollution.
