Research progress on application and mechanism of platelet rich plasma combination therapy in chronic wounds
Chronic wound healing is a complex process,influenced by various factors such as endocrine,trauma,ischemia,and pressure injuries,making it difficult for wounds to heal and becoming a challenge in clinical treatment.In recent years,platelet rich plasma,as a type of platelet concentrate,has shown great application value in the field of wound repair due to its rich bioactive factors.Especially when combined with traditional treatment methods,stem cell therapy,and new materials to treat chronic wounds,it exhibits a synergistic effect,effectively promoting wound healing process.This article summarizes the relevant research and possible mechanisms of platelet rich plasma combination therapy for chronic wounds in recent years,aiming to provide more theoretical basis for platelet rich plasma combination therapy and broaden the treatment ideas for chronic wounds.
