Research progress of circulating free DNA in kidney diseases
Kidney disease is a kind of disease that seriously threatens human health, its incidence rate and mortality rate are high, seeking high sensitive biological indicators is helpful to early diagnosis and improve prognosis.Circulating free DNA is a type of double stranded DNA fragment that exists outside of cells in plasma, urine, and other body fluids.Circulating free DNA is involved in the body's intrinsic inflammatory response and coagulation process, and is significantly elevated in kidney disease, which can used as a potential biomarker for kidney disease and has significant implications for disease diagnosis and prognosis. This article reviews biological characteristics role and application progress in kidney diseases of circulating free DNA,in order to provide reference for early diagnosis and prognosis of kidney diseases.
