Research progress of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of premature ovarian failure based on epigenetic regulation
Epigenetics studies the genetic phenotype changes under the condition of unchanged DNA sequences,which have individual differences,spatiotemporal specificity and dynamism,similar to holistic concept and dialectical treatment ideas of traditional Chinese medicine.In recent years,the incidence rate of premature ovarian failure(POF)has been increasing year by year and showing a trend of younger age.Its mechanism is complex,and epigenetic changes may be the key factor.This article reviews the role of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of POF and explores its key role in combination with previous research on epigenetics,providing new ideas for theoretical research and clinical treatment of POF.
