Effect of different medical insurance on comorbid anxiety in chronic kidney disease in Inner Mongolia Region
Objective To explore the effect of different medical insurance on the occurrence of anxiety in patients with chronic kidney disease(CKD)in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Methods A total of 637 patients with CKD stages 1-5 from five tertiary-level public hospitals and one private-private enterprise(a new"free medical care"business model)in a multicenter in Inner Mongolia Region were enrolled in the study between July and December 2023,and clinical data and their prevalence of anxiety were collected, and differences in the occurrence of anxiety in patients with CKD under different states of medical care were analyzed in univariate and multivariate analyses.Differences in the occurrence of anxiety in CKD patients under different states of healthcare coverage were analyzed, and relevant influencing factors were included in univariate and multivariate analyses. Results In 637 patients with CKD stages 1-5 there were 45 patients with anxiety symptoms, accounting for 7.1%.Different types of medical insurance for CKD patients had a significant effect on anxiety, and the increase in the reimbursement rate of medical insurance was a protective factor. The risk of anxiety in patients with urban workers'medical insurance was 55.9%lower than that in patients with urban residents'medical insurance(95%CI:0.230-0.833.P=0.012),and the risk of anxiety in free treatment patients was 79.6%lower than that in urban residents'health insurance patients(95%CI:0.040-0.880,P=0.033).Conclusion The occurrence of anxiety in CKD patients is closely related to health care coverage, and it is expected to improve the anxiety status of patients by increasing government and social health care subsidies.
