Effect of acupuncture and moxibustion for warming yang combined with Tongluo Fuzheng Decoction in the treatment of cerebral infarction with qi deficiency and blood stasis during the recovery period and its effect on serum Toll-like receptor and interleukin
Objective To investigate the efficacy and effect on serum Toll-like receptor(TLR)and interleukin-6(IL-6)of acupuncture and moxibustion for warming yang combined with Tongluo Fuzheng Decoction in the treatment of cerebral infarction with qi deficiency and blood stasis in the recovery period. Methods A total of 210 patients with recovering cerebral infarction of the qi deficiency and blood stasis type admitted to the Linping Branch,Second Affiliated Hospital,School of Medicine,Zhejiang University were selected from March 2022 to March 2024,and they were divided into the control group 1(treated with Tongluo Fuzheng Decoction),control group 2(treated with acupuncture and moxibustion for warming yang),and the combined group(acupuncture and moxibustion for warming yang combined with Tongluo Fuzheng Decoction)by random number table method, with 70 cases in each group, and all three groups were treated for 8 weeks. The traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores, cerebral hemodynamics, and serum TLR2,TLR3,and IL-6 levels were compared among the three groups before and after treatment, clinical efficacy was assessed and adverse effects were recorded. Results After treatment, the symptom scores,beat-to-beat index, resistance index, and serum TLR2 and IL-6 levels of the three groups were lower than those before treatment, and the combined group was lower than control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).After treatment, the mean blood flow velocity and serum TLR3 levels of the three groups were higher than before treatment, and the combined group was higher than control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).The clinical efficacy of the combined group was better than that of control group 1 and control group 2(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant difference in the incidence of total adverse reactions among the three groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture and moxibustion for warming yang combined with Tongluo Fuzheng Decoction has a good effect in the treatment of cerebral infarction of qi deficiency and blood stasis type in the recovery period, which not only improves Chinese medicine symptoms, neurological function, limb function and cerebral haemodynamics, but also reduces the serum TLR2 and IL-6 levels, and raises the TLR3 level, and it doesn't increase the adverse reactions.
