Application effect of nursing intervention based on ABC-X model in medical experience of patients with enterostomy
Objective To explore application effect of nursing intervention based on ABC-X model in medical experience of patients with enterostomy.Methods From April to August 2023,60 patients with colorectal cancer underwent colostomy for the first time in Zhujiang Hospital of Southern Medical University were selected as the research objects.According to different nursing intervention methods,they were divided into the control group(30 cases)and the experimental group(30 cases).The control group received routine stoma care,while the experimental group received nursing intervention based on ABC-X model on top of the control group.The satisfaction of patients,self-efficacy and psychological status of the two groups were compared.Results After intervention,information and education,emotional comfort,respect for patient preferences,physical comfort,participation of family and friends,continuity score and total score of medical services in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group,the nursing coordination score in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).After intervention,stoma self-efficacy scale(SSES)scores of the two groups were higher than before intervention,the scores of hospital anxiety and depression scale-anxiety(HADS-A)and hospital anxiety and depression scale-depression(HADS-D)in the two groups were lower than before intervention,and SSES score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group,HADS-A and HADS-D scores of the experimental group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention based on ABC-X model can effectively alleviate negative emotions in patients with colostomy,enhance self-care ability and self-efficacy,improve patient satisfaction,and enhance medical experience.
