Research progress on harm and influencing factors of depression in human immunodeficiency virus infected individuals
Depression is common in human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infected individuals,and seriously affects compliance,treatment effect and quality of life of patients with antiretroviral therapy.The occurrence of depression is the result of the combined effects of social demographic factors such as age,gender and education level,as well as physiological health status,psychological factors,environmental factors,coping strategies,and other factors.In recent years,study of depr-ession in HIV infected individuals has attracted increasing attention from scholars.Therefore,this article systematically elaborates on harm and influencing factors of depression in HIV infected individuals,in order to provide reference for early clinical identification of depression in HIV infected individuals and the development of effective intervention methods,and to reduce the occurrence of depression in HIV infected individuals.
