Latent profile analysis of clinical nurses'turnover intention
Objective To explore the latent profile of clinical nurses'turnover intention and analyze the influencing factors of different profiles,providing a basis for targeted intervention.Methods Convenience sampling was used from June to August 2023 to conduct a questionnaire survey of clinical nurses in tertiary hospitals in Chongqing using general information survey questionnaires,nurse psychological capital scale,job embedding scale,and turnover intention scale.Latent profile analysis was conducted on the results of the survey of clinical nurses'turnover intention,and logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of potential categories of clinical nurses'turnover intention.Results A total of 1 139 nurses were surveyed,and their turnover intention was divided into four potential profiles,named"high turnover intention group","turnover hesitation group","turnover hesitation-low action group",and"low turnover intention group",accounting for 20.90%,35.91%,11.33%,and 31.87%,respectively.The results of multiple logistic regression analysis showed that age,professional title,employment status,monthly total income,psychological capital,and job embeddedness are the influencing factors of clinical nurses turnover intention(P<0.05).Conclusion The turnover intention of nurses can be divided into four potential profiles,and hospital managers should develop effective intervention measures based on the different characteristics of nurses to reduce their turnover intention.
